I’m trying to optimize a PDF with an indexed image inside.
PDDocOptimizeSetImageRecompress(optParams, PDFOptimizerCompressImageType::PDFOptimizerGray, 20, 10, PDFOptimizerCompressionType::PDFOptimizerRecompressJpeg, PDFOptimizationCompressQuality::PDFOptimizerCompressQualityUnset);
But the result is a PDF with the same image.
Is there a bug?
Acrobat Pro do it.

7 days to erase. Please, give me feedback.
This doesn’t seem to be occurring because of a bug with PDDocOptimizeSetImageRecompress.
Optimizer does skip over some optimizations, including images, if it determines that a potential improvement would be negligible or detrimental. It seems like that’s what’s happening here, except in this case it shouldn’t be skipping the image. This is why the PDDocOptimizeSetImageRecompress settings aren’t being applied.
This issue is being forwarded to our engineering team for further analysis.
