When I copy a list from PDF Alchemist’s HTML output into a program such as Microsoft Word, why do the list items sometimes have two different bullet characters?

PDF Alchemist writes lists as unordered lists in its HTML output, adding “<ul>” and “<li>” tags. The product also¬†writes a separate literal bullet character for each list item. This allows PDF Alchemist to preserve the visual appearance of lists in HTML output files. When pasting lists into Microsoft Word, Word applies its default list style as well as keeping the bullet characters that are written by PDF Alchemist. To change the appearance to the appearance in the HTML, change the style for the list you want to change in Word to a style that uses no bullets.
